I worked as an apprentice for the day at the William Morris Gallery, Walthamstow this summer. I was fortunate to be able to join this exciting project created by ceramicist Clare Twomey. The gallery was transformed into a ‘live studio’ where visitors watched the artists work on a large tile panel embellished with Chrysanthemum, one of William Morris’s most compelling and intricate designs.
