Thank you

Since it’s the last day of the year, I am writing a quick post to say thank you to everyone who reads, follows and comments on my Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and website. I’ve had a tremendous year with lots of exciting opportunities, and it’s always so nice to get some feedback. It makes all the hard work worthwhile.

In 2014, I began collaborating with a theatre company called TAFAT. This began with one of my paintings incorporated into their company logo. They also commissioned my first-ever public art installation called ‘The Futility of War’. This was to accompany the performance of ‘One Day’ –  a commemorative production based on the Scarborough bombardment of 1914 and the war poems of Wilfred Owen.

Early in the year, I was completely over the moon to be shortlisted for the Photogram Open Award. This was a great achievement for me, along with a listing in Who’s Who in Art.

One of my highlights was exhibiting again at the Daniel Libeskind Space with Guerrilla Galleries for ‘Urban Life’ . You can see a short video of the exhibition here

I shall be kick-starting 2015 with another exciting exhibition, ‘Forbidden’, by Guerrilla Galleries, from 6th – 8th January.

I am currently working on a new piece to be shown during Coastival, Scarborough’s very own art’s and culture festival. Shall be telling more about that very soon.
