I have donated this piece to Cancer Research UK. I am supporting my friend Neil Fitzpatrick and his Apart project. As of July 2015 Neil has raised around £13,500. The auction will take place at the Crown Spa Hotel, Scarborough on Friday 2nd October during a special ‘Apart’ Black Tie Ball.
The one-off original piece is inspired by wild sweet pea and fern, which I collected from the clifftop area close to where I live. The size is roughly 80cm x 60cm and is a cyanotype on Arches paper. I have named it ‘Apart’ to coincide with the name of the song that Neil has written and produced to raise funds for the charity.
I am proud to be supporting this wonderful charity and I am now looking for pre-auction bidders who will kickstart this off with a bid to purchase my artwork and support this fantastic cause.
